A mere 0 days after his defeat, there are already calls for Beto O’Rourke to run for president.

The Beto 2020 enthusiasm began, oh, four seconds after the Texas Senate race was called in favor of infamous soup clown Ted Cruz. It confirms what was already evident on Twitter and in our souls — people are thirsty for Beto and they want to keep seeing him around.

Were the calls premature? Yes. Were they a coping mechanism? Also yes.
