Florida Man is back with heavy metal and an American Flag to face Hurricane Florence

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but Florida Man is back. 

Lane Pittman, who has built a brand off doing dumb shit like walk into dangerous hurricanes instead of seeking shelter, drove to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina to fight Hurricane Florence. 

As everyone else in the storm’s path evacuated, Pittman — who started referring to himself as Florida Man — marched into the street barefoot. With up to 50 mile per hour winds whipping his hair and American flag, Pittman wore nothing but a pair of bright blue shorts.

Embracing the spirit of the United States itself, Pittman was extraordinarily stupid for the sake of looking good with a flag.  Read more…
