14 dead, 25 injured as bus collides in Mastung

QUETTA: At least 14 people were killed and 25 have been injured in a road accident at Dasht area of Mastung District, Balochistan on Saturday.

Police sources said the injured have been shifted to the civil hospital in Quetta for treatment because of unavailability of proper health facilities in Mastung, according to reports.

The accident took place when a passenger coach, on Bolan Road in the Dasht area, collided with a van. The coach was carrying approximately 20 passengers who were on their way to a picnic.

Police yet to arrest driver who ran over woman at Seaview

Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has passed on condolences to the families of the deceased and expressed sorrow over the loss of precious lives.

In his message, he commiserated with the bereaved families and prayed for early recovery of the injured.
