Instagram is officially getting a polling feature.
The app added a new type of interactive sticker that allows users to add polls to their Stories, as well as new “color picker” and alignment tools.
The new “poll” stickers allow users to add two-option queries to their Stories. Those who view your Story can then vote in the poll by tapping on one of the options.
Viewers can see poll results unfold in real time and the person who posted the poll can see a breakdown of who voted for which option. All polls and results disappear after 24 hours, just like everything else posted to Stories. Read more…
