Welcome to our 2018 fall movie preview. We’ll be coming at you all week with the movies you need to know over the next few months – starting today with what to see if you want to get your emotions running high.

We’d be lying if we said we weren’t a little sad to see this summer come to an end. But if there’s one thing we can take comfort in, it’s that this means the fall movie slate is almost upon us. 

This is the season of awards hopefuls, for indie oddities, for holiday crowdpleasers. It’s the best time of year to round up the family for a warm and fuzzy cartoon, or ditch them all for a festival-circuit fave that’s like nothing you’ve ever seen before.  Read more…
