What have we done? What have we done?
A Super Smash Bros. modder and weaver of nightmares, Master0fHyrule, distorted all of the characters from Super Smash Bros. Wii U and forced them to do the infamous default Fortnite dance. The result for some of the characters is amusing. For others, like Pikachu, Yoshi, and Charizard, it’s unsettling. The Bowser dance is particularly gruesome.
As explained in the video’s description, Master0fHyrule achieved this horror show by modding Captain Falcon to do the Fortnite dance in Super Smash Bros. Wii U, and then imported every character into Falcon’s model to do the dance too. Read more…

Intense 'Venom' trailer introduces your not-so-friendly neighborhood parasite
July 31, 2018We’re finally getting to know Venom in this full trailer for his eponymous film about the origin of the parasitic alien super-villain from Spider-Man comics. And while Venom may be the obvious villain, we have our suspicions about Dr. Carlton Drake (Riz Ahmed).
The new trailer shows Brock’s deterioration into Venom – a connection between “man and symbiote,” as Drake says. Eddie, curious and nonconfrontational, fuses with his new alter-ego – massive, growling, hungry for flesh. The trailer features lots of snarling Venom and Tom Hardy Doing Voices, a good amount of Ahmed’s Drake and his toxic ambition, and not nearly enough of Michelle Williams as Anne. Read more…

Figuring out where to eat has never been easier.
Google Maps on iOS has been updated Tuesday with a feature that shows you how well you “match” with a restaurant.
Once you’ve updated Google Maps on iOS to the latest version, the feature will automatically show as a “match” percentage on restaurants you find on Google Maps.
Google says the score is calculated “based on your unique preferences.” When the feature was first announced, in May, Google gave a bit more thorough explanation.
“We use machine learning to generate this number, based on a few factors: what we know about a business, the food and drink preferences you’ve selected in Google Maps, places you’ve been to, and whether you’ve rated a restaurant or added it to a list. Your matches change as your own tastes and preferences evolve over time—it’s like your own expert sidekick, helping you quickly assess your options and confidently make a decision,” the company said at the time.
