Deposed PM Nawaz Sharif will be indicted by an accountability court hearing the National Accountability Bureau’s (NAB) references against him on Monday.
According to Express News, strict security steps have been taken by the law enforcement agencies for the former premier’s appearance before the court.
Nawaz had briefly appeared before the court on September 26, a day after returning from London where his wife is undergoing treatment for lymphoma.
The ousted PM and his family face three corruption references filed against them by NAB on the orders of the apex court, which had disqualified Nawaz in its July 28 Panama Papers verdict.
Nawaz set to take over reins of PML-N leadership again on Oct 3
The references pertain to London’s Avenfield flats, Flagship Investment Limited and 15 other companies as well as al-Azizia Company Limited and Hill Metals Establishment.
Last week, Senate passed the election reforms bill with an amendment, paving the way for Nawaz’s elevation as party president. Given the PML-N majority, the bill is likely to have an easy sailing in the National Assembly on Monday.

If enabled, Do Not Disturb While Driving turns on automatically when it detects the acceleration of a vehicle (you can turn it off if you’re a passenger). You can also enable it to turn on whenever it connects to a car via Bluetooth.
But the feature doesn’t totally cut you off. You can set Do Not Disturb While Driving to automatically respond to any texts informing their senders that you are driving. Read more…

In 1942, the Office of War Information was created by the U.S. government to create and distribute information and propaganda about the war effort at home and abroad.
The OWI absorbed the photographic unit of the Farm Security Administration, which had become famous for its documentation of the Great Depression under the direction of Roy Stryker.
Among the unit’s roster of talented shooters was Marjory Collins, a former magazine photographer from New York.
During her tenure at the OWI, Collins completed around 50 assignments documenting life on the home front, focussing in particular on diverse ethnic communities across the country. Read more…
