A 'Bob's Burgers' movie is coming in hot, and our mouths are already watering
October 4, 2017Set your grills to medium-high, Bob’s Burgers fans, because the Belcher family’s lovable antics are officially coming to the big screen.
Are your palms as slick with sweat as Tina’s while gazing longingly at Jimmy Jr.’s butt? Well they should be, because the Fox animated show not only boasts an enviable cast of comedians, but also a heart of gold — with arteries as clogged as Teddy’s, presumably. (But they’re clogged with love, so keep shoving those burgers into our hearts!)
On Twitter, creator Loren Bouchard confirmed that the team behind the animated show is developing a feature film set for release in 2020: Read more…

Costco is selling a year's worth of emergency food because the end is clearly near
October 4, 2017Prepping for the end of the world just got way easier.
Beloved bulk retailer Costco is now offering a “1 Year Emergency Food Kit” for anyone who’s getting ready to hunker down at the possibility of disaster. It seems like a pretty simple and smart move for the store, which already sells items in bulk.
The kit will run you $999.99, which is actually pretty reasonable considering it comes with 6,200 servings of food, which is apparently enough to feed one person for an entire year on a 1,200 calorie diet.
According to the kit’s description on Costco’s site, it consists of freeze-dried fruits and veggies, rice, wheat, beans, meat, and instant milk. While it eating out of gallon cans doesn’t sound very appetizing, it will likely suffice for the end of the world. Read more…

If you were impressed with last year’s Pixels, prepare to be blown away by this year’s Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL.
The new flagship handsets build on everything that was great about the original Pixels and then some. After a few short demos following Google’s event today, it’s already clear the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL are more than capable of competing with the best Android phones and, yes, the iPhone 8.
Both HTC-made handsets have a similar design to their predecessors, with a few notable exceptions. First, neither has a headphone jack, which was maybe inevitable but is still somewhat of a bummer. Both phones also have noticeably smaller bezels than the first generation Pixel and Pixel XL. Read more…

Coming home after a long day only to find your precious driveway has been blocked is frustrating. And unless you want to involve the cops or know who’s car it is, there’s not really much you can do.
Instead of calling in backup, this dude decided to take care of things himself. After scoping out the car, the man managed to hook a tow line to the car blocking his driveway. But he didn’t move it to a nice, new spot, he decided to leave the car right in the middle of the street.
According to the clip’s timestamp, the car remained blocking the street for three hours until police finally arrived and had the car’s owner remove the vehicle. Read more…

How your leaders made it easy for a man like Stephen Paddock to own 42 guns
October 4, 2017After an attack in Las Vegas left 59 dead and 520 injured on Monday, Congressional leadership responded with a resounding chorus of “thoughts and prayers” and pretty much nothing else. Their passivity speaks volumes.
There have been more mass shootings in the United States this year than there have been days in the calendar. Sunday’s Las Vegas attack was the largest mass shooting in modern (post 19th century) U.S. history.
Perhaps it’s time for them to try something a little different: passing some gun control legislation.
