The first game of the 2017 World Series was hot. Literally. It was the hottest World Series game ever.
When the game started, the announcer at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles announced it was 103 degrees Fahrenheit. That beats the previous record-holder, a 2001 World Series game in Phoenix that reached 94 degrees.
Oh, and the game was pretty good too. The LA Dodgers beat the Houston Astros 3-1, so at least fans left with smiles on their sweat-drenched faces. Journalists baking in the LA sun definitely noticed it was a bit toasty.
