ISLAMABAD: The union of Capital Development Authority (CDA) is seeking support from Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) against the authority’s administration. Future of CDA’s 15,000 employees is at stake and ICCI should support protection of their rights, said CDA Union’s Secretary General Chaudhry Yasin in a meeting with ICCI President Amir Waheed. CDA Union President Aurnagzeb Khan was also present. Waheed assured that ICCI would support protection of legal rights of CDA employees. President ICCI called for taking measures to resolve the major issues being faced by the local business community. President ICCI said union should act as a bridge between CDA and ICCI finding out optimum solutions of key issues. Waheed said that the role of CDA employees was important in improving the performance of the civic body.
