Justin Timberlake's shirt was the only risk he took during his Super Bowl halftime show

During Justin Timberlake’s super safe, not-very-interesting halftime show, the majority of people were focused on one thing: his shirt.

JT came back to the pop culture landscape this past week with an album that contained no subtlety. It’s titled Man of the Woods. 

He seems like he really wants to commit to this dumb branding exercise. Much of the decor from his  show seemed like it leapt out the background of an L.L. Bean photoshoot, and naturally he wanted to dress the part as well.

As you can see, he accentuated his pop asthetic with a red bandana and a shirt that looks like it has some sort of elk on it.  Read more…
