Lady Gaga has cancelled the rest of the Joanne World Tour due to “severe pain,” according to a statement tweeted on Saturday.
“I’m so devastated I don’t know how to describe it. All I know is that if I don’t do this, I am not standing by the words or meaning of my music. My medical team is supporting the decision for me to recover at home,” Gaga’s statement reads.
The 31-year-old singer has been public about living with fibromyalgia, a chronic musculoskeletal disease that can cause these episodes of severe pain. She also had postponed the European leg of her tour last year due to health concerns, and she spoke about these health issues during her Netflix documentary, “Gaga: Five Foot Two.” Read more…
