Sounds like someone wants to break free: Fox has suspended filming on its upcoming Freddie Mercury biopic because, last we checked, the show can’t go on without its director.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the film’s high-profile helmer, Bryan Singer, “failed to return to set after the Thanksgiving holiday break, leaving producers nervous about the state of the production and talking about potentially replacing him.”
Fox confirmed the production delay in a statement to Mashable: “Twentieth Century Fox Film has temporarily halted production on Bohemian Rhapsody due to the unexpected unavailability of Bryan Singer.” Read more…
