Someone at Hasbro apparently thought Monopoly for Millennials was a great idea
November 12, 2018Someone really though a millennial version of Monopoly might be a fun idea.
The very bitter people behind the board game known for tearing apart friend groups and getting children written out of wills released an especially cursed version of the game titled Monopoly For Millennials.
In this version of the game, players don’t buy up properties — because what IRL millennial can afford to buy houses when they’re too busy spending their money on avocado toast, right? Instead the game employs tired stereotypes of younger generations, as players buy “experiences” like going to the Vegan Bistro or crashing on their Friend’s Couch. We regret to inform you Trumpy Bear is a *real* thing you can spend money on
November 12, 2018Looking for something to tightly squeeze while you fear for the future of American politics? Trumpy Bear is here to help… or at least help give you nightmares. The purpose of this terrifying little creature is unclear, but the product is very real.

As part of his storied comics career, Lee spent almost four decades writing regular installments of ”Stan’s Soapbox” on the backs of comics, in which he frequently fought for his heroes’ values of tolerance and equality.
“Bigotry and racism are among the deadliest social ills plaguing the world today…It’s totally irrational, patently insane to condemn an entire race — to despise an entire nation — to vilify an entire religion,” Lee wrote. “…Sooner or later, if man is ever to be worthy of his destiny, we must fill out hearts with tolerance.” Read more…

Beto O'Rourke and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez have mastered Instagram Stories
November 12, 2018In a world increasingly obsessed with social media, today’s politicians have found a secret weapon: Instagram stories.
By documenting their daily activities using Instagram’s Stories and Live features, rising political stars like Beto O’Rourke and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez have given supporters a rare glimpse at some of the most humanizing moments in their lives.
For many, the stripped down, extremely casual content — think cooking dinner at home or doing DIY projects with family — serves as a refreshing change from polished speeches and the formality of campaign trails. And so far political Instagram seems to be a big hit. Read more…
