Peppa Pig, the sassy anti-whistling British pig of renown, is stirring up trouble in China. She’s been dubbed a “subversive” figure associated with the gangster lifestyle of young Chinese adults, and banned from a social media platform there.

More than 30,000 videos of Peppa that used the hashtag “#PeppaPig” have reportedly been deleted from the website Douyin (“Tik Tok” in English) because, according to an internal memo obtained by CNN, Peppa was “spreading negative social influence.”

After decades of radio silence, Atari announced that you’ll be able to pre-order its game-console homage to ’80s gaming, the Atari VCS (formerly the Ataribox), starting May 30 via an Indiegogo campaign.

It’s been a long road for the mysterious vintage-looking console. The device, first announced last summer, was supposed to roll out for pre-order in December, but that was pushed back indefinitely due to unexpected production delays. And even if you pre-order it, it’s not expected to ship until the spring of 2019.

Host Trevor Noah “officially fired” Michelle Wolf from The Daily Show last night after her controversial White House Correspondents’ Dinner speech dominated the last few news cycles.

Gleefully, Noah broke down what exactly was so incendiary about her monologue, saying she “should’ve had the decency not to comment on a woman’s appearance in any way, shape or form. She’s a comedian for God’s sake. Not the president.” 

And to prove his point, he fake fired Wolf, who worked as a writer and contributor for The Daily Show from April 2016 to December of last year.

Noah then rolled a montage of some of Trump’s worst comments against women, saying, “Now that’s how you insult a woman… Joking is only an excuse when its coming from the president.” Read more…

Star-Lord did some dumb shit on Titan, no question. After the combined efforts of three Avengers, three Guardians of the Galaxy, and Nebula left Thanos ensnared and — at last! — vulnerable, Peter Quill screwed it all up.
