'Pokémon Quest' is a new, very boxy game for Nintendo Switch and mobile

Pokémon has just announced new games that you’ll inevitably obsess over at its 2018 video game press conference in Tokyo on Tuesday.

The first is Pokémon Quest, a “free-to-start game” now available on Nintendo Switch, and will be available on iOS and Android by late June. 

Players can “face off against wild Pokémon and embark on many exciting expeditions” on a new land called Tumblecube Island.

It seems like the game will only feature first-generation Pokémon, with the notable difference being that the characters have a boxy, cube-like appearance.  Read more…
