Brooklyn Nine-Nine isn’t going anywhere.
After Fox abruptly cancelled the sitcom on Thursday, NBC stepped up the next day to announce plans for a 13-episode sixth season. It’s not clear when the new episodes will air, but fans can at least rest easy in the knowledge that the show will have an opportunity to deliver a sense of closure.

That’s not to say Brooklyn Nine-Nine‘s newly confirmed sixth season will necessarily be its last. NBC Entertainment chairman Robert Greenblatt avoided addressing the show’s future one way or another in a statement announcing the news (h/t/ The Hollywood Reporter). Read more…
