Drake just paid for a bunch of people's groceries so, uh, they can thank him now
February 7, 2018Drake’s been on a major generosity kick while filming his music video for “God’s Plan,” and fans are loving him for it.
For the rapper’s latest good deed, he dropped in on some unsuspecting shoppers at a Miami supermarket and, you know, casually spent over $50,000 paying for strangers’ groceries. No big deal.
Drake reportedly visited the Sabor Tropical Supermarket at around 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, according to E! News, and announced via megaphone that he’d be covering the costs of everyone shopping in the store.
“No one knew he was coming at all, we just came to do groceries. Cameras were being set up so we were all wondering what was to happen,” Guille Deza, a shopper told E! News. Read more…

Bad news, emoji lovers: Apple is making it much harder for developers to put emoji in apps.
Numerous developers are reporting App Store rejections as a result of using Apple’s emoji designs in their apps — something which the company until recently allowed.
The company appears to be ramping up enforcement of a rule that prohibits app makers from using Apple’s emoji in any part of an app, saying it violates Apple’s copyright.
According to screenshots posted by developers, Apple’s rejecting the submissions under rule 5.2.5, which was added to its App Store guidelines last March. The rule says that “apps and extensions, including third party keyboards and Sticker packs, may not include Apple emoji.” Read more…
