Ain’t no party like a canine party because canine party don’t stop. 

Twitter user Caolan McAree (@caolanmcaree) witnessed, but sadly wasn’t invited to, the hottest shindig of the year right in the middle of his local bar. He was just hanging out when he saw a dog walk in, dressed to the nines, and receive a super warm welcome from all the other patrons there.

McAree tweeted that the owner of a lucky bulldog, affectionately named Mr. Wrinkles, rented out a private area just for the drooling birthday boy and his tail-wagging guests.  Read more…

25 years ago, on 3 December 1992, a British engineer sent a message to a colleague. The contents were unremarkable, a simple “Merry Christmas,” but this dispatch of seasonal cheer happened to be the first text message ever sent.

These days, the humble text message is ubiquitous and nothing much to write home about. But, during my generation’s early teenage years, the text message was the apex of coolness. And, the sending of one’s first ever text was a rite of passage; an entrance examination for a secret society of coolness.

Barack Obama may have a solution to fixing the country’s biggest problems… and that starts with a hiring process. 

Obama spoke at an event in Paris over the weekend and answered a few questions on climate change, leadership and the future of the United States. 

He was invited to an event organized by a group of professionals called the “Les Napoleons,” where he talked about the state of the United States and the role we play on addressing the country’s issues. He also discussed Donald Trump’s withdrawal from the Paris Agreement – a commitment implemented by the Obama Administration to fight against climate change and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.  Read more…
