Backward compatibility on the Xbox One works really, really well, and the folks at DigitalFoundry went in-depth on how Xbox managed to make it work.
In the above video, DigitalFoundry breaks down how the Xbox One runs Xbox 360 games through an emulator and seamlessly improves frame rates and even resolutions in 360 games, making them look and play even better on the Xbox One.
