Another 15-second Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom teaser has been released, if you’re into being drip-fed sneak peeks.

Teaser content for the Jurassic World sequel will be released each day this week leading up to the trailer launch on Thursday, Dec. 7 — the first teaser featured a dinosaur stampede.

The next little taster features Chris Pratt returning to his role as ex-Navy guy Owen Grady, and Bryce Dallas Howard returning as Claire Dearing, the Jurassic World operations manager. And a casually sedated Tyrannosaurus rex packed into a crate. Cool, cool.

My god, Ed Sheeran is highly inoffensive and very, very popular.

Spotify released its annual Year in Music list, and Britain’s all-around nice guy is the most streamed artist on Spotify with 45 million monthly listeners around the world.

With 6.3 billion streams this year alone, Sheeran snatched the streaming crown from Drake, who was the most streamed artist in 2015 and 2016, but came in second place in 2017. It’s been a popular year for The Weeknd, Kendrick Lamar and The Chainsmokers too, who rounded out the top five.  Read more…

GM wants to make life more efficient for its drivers and keep them on the road, so it’s making sure you’ll never have to leave the comfort of your car to order a coffee or pay for gas.  

The automaker is rolling out a new commerce platform for its dashboard infotainment consoles with parter Xevo Inc. The new feature, dubbed the GM Marketplace, will allow drivers to order food and drink, find gas stations and pay for fuel, make restaurant reservations, and more using a personalized smart system honed by IBM Watson’s machine learning techniques and user data.

GM says Marketplace will be the first in-dash commerce platform of its kind for the auto industry, but it’s probably far from the last. The potential purchasing power of connected cars shouldn’t be taken lightly, and capitalizing on the opportunity to make it easier to sell drivers even more stuff is a no-brainer.    Read more…

Turns out 2017 ended up being a good year for fans of K-Pop and marriage equality.

Twitter has released its Australian year in review, revealing what the country’s users have been talking about.

Unsurprisingly, the country’s vote to allow LGBTQ couples to marry was among the most discussed topics on the platform. The hashtag #marriageequality, ranked second behind #auspol (short for Australian politics) in Twitter’s top list.

The country’s most retweeted post was one by Australian Marriage Equality on Nov. 15, which came shortly following the announcement that a majority of the country had voted yes. Read more…
