Betsy DeVos dressed as Ms. Frizzle for Halloween and everyone's thrilled! No just kidding they are very mad.
October 31, 2017Amidst the indictments of former top Trump campaign officials through Robert Mueller’s investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election, the president and the first lady hosted the traditional White House Halloween party on Monday evening.
While many members of the Trump administration opted not to wear costumes, Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos attended the party as Ms. Frizzle from The Magic School Bus. Interesting!
Ms. Frizzle, of course, was a school teacher/scientist with a permit to drive a school bus and also a witch or a magician or something. Betsy DeVos is a billionaire without an education degree and zero experience working in a school environment who recently repealed 72 documents outlining the rights of students with disabilities in schools. We must all bear witness to the country music Halloween costumes on the 'Today' show
October 31, 2017As usual, the hosts of the Today show went all out for Halloween this year. Also as usual, the costume rollout was truly something to behold.
This year’s theme was “country music,” so everyone ~transformed~ into a particular country music icon. We understand it might have been difficult to register everyone’s ensemble through the sizable morning show chaos, so here’s who wore what.
Al Roker, the emperor of the Today show, transformed into a flawless Willie Nelson. (Al Roker rules.)

When we think of childhood fears, those typically include things like the dark, ghosts, and scary movies. However, that changes as soon as we become adults.
Haleigh Conner, a college student at University of Minnesota Twin Cities has the right idea. She came up with her own clever Halloween costume and it’s pretty funny considering how many can relate.
She dressed up as “commitment” because it’s the scariest thing she could think of. And she made sure that she shouted out to her exes.
The idea is both accurate and genius. Read more…

One of the most entrepreneurial TV families also happens to be an animated one. For seven seasons on the series “Bob’s Burgers,” we’ve watched The Belcher family run a restaurant in a small, seaside community. The eatery is named after Bob, the family patriarch and owner, who operates the business alongside his wife Linda and their three children Gene, Tina, and Louise.
When a small business is depicted on TV, it’s generally done in a quaint and lowkey manner. Details like the daily lack of customers in a clothing shop or employees taking frequent breaks don’t seem to affect the company’s bottom line. Bob’s Burgers, on the other hand, keeps the trials and tribulations of running a storefront in check because the burger joint is practically one of the main characters. Read more…

Sean Hannity had a perfect Freudian slip while talking about Hilary Clinton
October 31, 2017After discounting Manafort’s indictment as irrelevant and shrugging off Papadopoulos’ guilty plea with an “everybody makes mistakes” ¯_(ツ)_/¯, Fox News host Sean Hannity turned to the person whose crimes he thought investigators should be focusing on: President Hillary Clinton.
But his call out of Clinton didn’t necessarily go as planned…
