ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) will arrange a rally on October 6 to create awareness about safety measures among bikers, particularly wearing helmets. Around 500 bikers will participate in the rally which will start from Islamabad Sports Complex and culminate at same point after passing through various areas of the city. Contingents of Islamabad police and people from various walks of life would ride their two-wheelers in the rally. SSP (Traffic) Malik Matloob has said that purpose of this rally was to create awareness about safety measures among motorbike riders and to ensure they wear helmets. He said that one-month long campaign has been already launched for safety of motorcyclists and to ensure safe driving for them on roads through use of helmets.
