Dude's plan to go get some chicken nuggets goes viral

The chicken nugget may be simple, but boy, it attracts plenty of fanfare.

Corey Dunkin, 30, a web developer and illustrator from Sydney, Australia created a Facebook event back in August called I’m going to go get some Chicken McNuggets®, taking place at the McDonald’s store on George St on Oct. 6. That’s it.

Of course, the event was started as a joke. But it now has about 4,000 people attending, according to Facebook, and even McDonald’s has responded to it. 

“To me, it’s such a non-event. Like, to make an event like that, is stupid, so I just thought it was funny,” Dunkin explained.  Read more…
