The Infinity Stones have cropped up all over the MCU over the past ten years and 18 movies. But with Infinity War approaching, it’s time to really pay attention to them.
Here’s the rundown: There are six Infinity Stones (also known as gems, but they’re rebranding): Time, Space, Power, Mind, Reality, and one we’ve never seen – Soul. When combined with the Infinity Gauntlet, they are the most powerful objects in the universe.

This super freaky ski lift glitch reminds us that life is a nightmarish simulation
March 16, 2018You can count me out of skiing ever again because this video of a ski lift malfunctioning is now my worst nightmare. If I want to shoot backwards at 500 mph I’ll ride Mr. Freeze at Six Flags (something else I’ve vowed to never do again).
This chairlift at Guadari ski resort in the country of Georgia decided to traumatize and nearly kill a few people by becoming possessed, increasing its speed, and flying backwards.
According to local outlets, the accident “occurred because of negligence” by an operator, which I’m assuming means they pressed the wrong button on their two-button job. I mean, come on, it’s harder to actually jump on the ski lift at the right time than operate it. Read more…

'Star Wars Battlefront II' updates loot box system after months of criticism
March 16, 2018Star Wars Battlefront II is finally getting a new progression system after its loot box system caused a massive outcry from fans and critics in late 2017.
EA announced a new linear progression for Star Wars Battlefront II Friday, which means that instead of accruing loot boxes (a.k.a. crates) through gameplay and unlocking random upgrades, players will gain level and be able to choose specific upgrades (a.k.a. Star Cards) for specific classes, heroes, and ships by playing as them. Players will no longer be able to purchase upgrades with real money.

You’ve probably forgotten amidst all this hype about iPhones, but Apple still occasionally makes computers and tablets. And a new patent application reveals that its next ones might have an interesting feature.
The patent, first reported by Patently Apple, would be for technology that can make an onscreen keyboard (like that on an iPad) feel like a real keyboard.
According to the patent application’s images, Apple has in mind a touchscreen device that could display a keyboard, or other buttons such as music and volume controls. The device will sense when you pressed each key and provide haptic feedback — that is, you’ll feel like you’re pressing a physical key. Read more…
