Huawei's new earbuds will come with this ingenious feature, report claims

Huawei’s upcoming Mate 20 smartphone, in combination with the company’s upcoming wireless earbuds, the FreeBuds 2 Pro, will have a clever feature that will provide some extra listening time in desperate situations. 

According to a report by German outlet WinFuture, both devices will support wireless charging, and you’ll be able to charge the FreeBuds 2 Pro simply by placing their case on the back of the Mate 20. 

Of course, you’ll also be able to charge the FreeBuds 2 Pro by placing them on a wireless charging mat, but now you’ll be able to juice them up on the go, as long as you have your phone on you. Of course, if your phone is also low on battery, this won’t be as useful, but the scenario in which your phone is charged up but your wireless earbuds’ battery is dead isn’t that uncommon.  Read more…
