Here's why AirPower didn't make it to the Apple event

AirPower, we hardly knew ye.

Two reports published over the weekend that cite in-the-know sources reveal that AirPower is sitting in the way back of Apple’s struggle bus. The problems are reportedly so extensive that the project may be scrapped altogether or at least totally re-imagined.

Apple unveiled its concept for AirPower at a 2017 product event. AirPower was to be a charging mat that powered your iPhone, AirPods, and Apple Watch all at once.
