Mark Hamill added to his delightful string of Star Wars stories on Saturday when he shared the startling fact that he’s never met his mother.

Well, his Star Wars mother to be exact.

As the official Star Wars Twitter account shared birthday wishes for actress Natalie Portman, who portrayed Padmé Amidala, mother to Luke and Leia, in the Star Wars prequels, Hamill remarked that he had never actually met the actress in real life.
