Gmail will soon be writing entire emails for you

Gmail users have had Smart Reply for over a year, but the mail service is getting even smarter. 

At the opening keynote of Google’s annual I/O developer conference, Google CEO Sundar Pichai announced Smart Compose, an upcoming feature that will finish entire sentences for you as you type.

When you type a sentence in an email, lighter text to potentially complete the sentence will appear. For example, if you type “My address is,” you’ll have the opportunity to auto-complete the sentence with your address.  Read more…
