Audiences dressed like royalty for 'Black Panther' and it was extremely awesome

To some people, Black Panther is just a movie, but to so many viewers it is the first time they can see themselves or something resembling their heritage portrayed positively on a big screen. In honor of the fictional nation of Wakanda, an African country untouched by white colonialism, audiences dressed to impress and to make T’Challa proud.

Naturally, they couldn’t resist sharing on Twitter. Here are just a few of our faves.
