More than a year ago, I made the impulsive decision to delete the Facebook app from my phone.
Friends, it’s been great! I like my iPhone better when there’s like 80 percent less autoplay food video to stare at.
But I’m no internet purist. Deleting the app from my phone was a simple, low-lift solution to limiting my Facebook use while not seated at a computer. Facebook on desktop, though, is still my weakness, due in large part to my devotion to one of the weirdest branded pages on the internet: the official Lisa Frank Facebook page. Read more…

Growing up, most of us had the one school project that required us to dress up as one of our heroes.
Twitter user Audrey Dow (@ADCollegeOpp) shared a picture of her 9-year-old daughter dressed as her hero former First Lady Michelle Obama for a school project. Dow says her daughter was inspired by the former First Lady’s commitment to helping students go to college, and that she sees herself in her hero.

Harley-Davidson, known for its American-made motorcycles, is expanding into all-electric vehicles with its first e-bike expected to hit the road in the next 18 months.
In an earnings call earlier this week, Harley-Davidson outlined plans for its Project LiveWire electric motorcycle to go from prototype to real deal. That’s an electric motor — no gas. The LiveWire concept launched in 2014 and went from zero to 60 mph in four seconds. Read more…
