Human Rights Campaign projects every banned CDC word on Trump hotel

The Human Rights Campaign is using President Trump’s hotel in Washington, D.C., to make a serious political statement.

In a protest of recently banned words the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is no longer allowed to include in next year’s budget documents, the LGBTQ advocacy group partnered with multimedia artist Robin Bell to project the words onto Trump’s hotel Tuesday night.

The Trump-Pence Administration banned the CDC from using words like “transgender” and “diversity” in an effort to erase us. Tonight we met their attacks with a resolve to be louder and more visible than ever before.
