Facebook now lets you livestream your face as you play Messenger games

Dreamed of watching the pensive looks of your opponent on Words With Friends?

Facebook’s Messenger games launched a year ago, and on Thursday the company announced it was rolling out new livestreaming and video chat features.

Once you click a new camera icon on top of a Messenger game, you can livestream the game you’re playing to your Facebook page or profile, with the option to turn on your screen’s front camera. You can also save the recording on your phone.

There will also be the ability to video chat with your partner while you play a game with them, set to be introduced on Words With Friends early next year. Read more…
