Upcoming short film Papers, Please — based off the the indie game of the same name — released its first full trailer.
The film, directed by Russian filmmaker Nikita Ordynskiy, is to be a border control thriller placing Russian actor Igor Savochkin in the lead role as the nameless passport inspector.
The game explores themes of morality, dystopia, immigration, and more, and went on to be a critical darling back in 2013. Creator Lucas Pope left his job at Naughty Dog — the studio known for the wildly popular Uncharted series — in order to create the original Papers, Please.
