Watching Elizabeth Warren tell her #MeToo story will ruin your week

As women in Congress, Senators Elizabeth Warren, Claire McCaskill, Mazie Hirono, and Heidi Heitkamp present strong, reasonable, and resilient personas to their largely male colleagues in Congress.

Which is part of what makes a new video from Meet the Press, in which the four lion-like Senators candidly share their own chilling #MeToo stories of sexual harassment in the workplace, so heartbreaking, and powerful: It doesn’t matter who you are or what industry you’re in, sexual harassment is everywhere.

NBC released the video on Sunday, after reportedly asking all 21 female members of Congress to share their #MeToo stories. The four Senators featured comprise the total respondents.  Read more…
