A mother bear and her cubs float gracefully around a backyard pool

Looking to momentarily escape the stresses of life in the woods, a family of bears took a much needed refreshing swim in a backyard pool in Monrovia, California, this weekend. 

The pool’s owners, stunned by their hairy new guests, recorded the mother bear and her cubs enjoying the water and basking in the warm sun.
