School heads, teachers suspended

FAISALABAD: District Education Authority Chief Executive Officer Dr Javed Iqbal Chishti removed heads of two high schools over poor performance and negligence.

He also suspended four schoolteachers for their absence from duty. The CEO visited various schools in the district and observed that computer labs were not activated in Government High School Raza Abad and Millat Islamia High School Ghulam Muhammad Abad. Therefore, the CEO immediately removed heads of the schools identified as Abdul Ghaffar and Malik Hamid.

Meanwhile, Javed Iqbal also took notice of absence and suspended Nia Madrassa High School Head Maqsood and three teachers of MC High School Raza Abad, including Hafiz Munir, Irfan and Bushra. The CEO education said the government was spending billions of rupees on the provision of best education facilities to the masses and negligence in this regard will not be tolerated.
