Facebook will testify before Congress on Russia interference in 2016 election

Facebook will testify before Congress about its influence on the 2016 election. 

The news, confirmed via a source at Facebook, arrived just as Sen. Richard Burr and Sen. Mark Warner held a press conference Wednesday to provide updates on what their team has done since launching the investigation on Russia’s interference—and to warn that Russian meddling had not stopped.

Sens. Warner and Burr emphasized that their investigation is ongoing, and that collusion between Donald Trump’s campaign and Russians had not been ruled out.
