Nikolaj Coster-Waldau shares his favorite Jaime moments from 'Game of Thrones' Season 7

The end is nigh for Game of Thrones, and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, a.k.a. Jaime Lannister, reminisced about some of his favorite moments from the series, specifically a couple scenes from Season 7.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Coster-Waldau said that two Season 7 scenes in particular stood out to him — both in his own enjoyment and how they showed Jaime’s character development.

The episode “The Queen’s Justice” features a scene between Jaime and Olenna Tyrell (played by Dame Diana Rigg) in which Jaime has been tasked with executing Olenna by his sister Cersei (Lena Headey). Instead of a death-by-sword scenario, Jaime offers Olenna a bottle of poison for a quick, painless death, which she takes and then reveals she was the one who poisoned his son Joffrey right before she died.
