Amazon has the Echo Spot on sale for just $99.99 (and that never happens)

Still haven’t gotten in on the smart speaker or security camera action, huh? Just chilling at home hoping the Uber Eats driver isn’t actually a character from The Purge? You do know it’s 2018, right?

Here’s your way in: Amazon’s Echo Spot — or as Mashable’s Ray Wong calls it, “Amazon’s best balance of size, price, and features on an Echo smart speaker yet” — is on sale for less than $100.

Amazon rarely puts the Echo Spot on sale by itself — they usually have a “buy two, save $40” deal, which is cool only if you’re really going to use two of them. Considering the Spot is one of Amazon’s two smart speakers with a touchscreen (the slightly bigger one is a whopping $229), getting this one for just $99 is a sweet steal. Read more…
