This tiny robotic spider might one day perform surgeries inside your body

A new fabrication method for millimeter-scale soft robots provides them with unprecedented dexterity, opening up the opportunities for medical applications. To demonstrate this new method, researchers from Harvard’s Wyss Institute, the Harvard John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, and Boston University built a robot spider inspired by the Australian peacock spider. Read more…
