Weekend activity inspo: Shooting arrows into Silly String

Are you a person with a backyard who is looking for something to do this weekend? Here’s an idea: shoot some arrows into cans of Silly String and see what happens.

Okay, maybe not. But you could watch Alee Vestal-Laborde, a nationally-ranked recurve archer and biochemist, do it. Using a competition bow, she manages to pierce the top of her can of the stuff, and while the result isn’t super dramatic, it does fall squarely into the “oddly satisfying” category.
