We should have seen that 'Westworld' reveal coming back in Episode 1

With a show like Westworld, it’s hard to get any reveal past the avid Reddit theorists. And yet somehow, showrunners Lisa Joy and Jonathan Nolan pulled it off during Sunday night’s “Vanishing Point” episode.

A running mystery (among the many millions) of the season centered around the Delos Corporation’s ability to copy the cognition of guests. And the answer literally went right over our heads. It’s particularly embarrassing because it was right in front of us since Episode 1 of Season 2.

The hats. No wonder William always made sure to grab his after every shoot out. They are, after all, the apparent key to immortality. Read more…
