BlackBerry just sued Snapchat because #yolo

BlackBerry is suing Snap Inc. for patent infringement. 

Does that sound familiar? Well, you may be thinking of that time last month when the Canadian tech company sued Facebook Inc., alleging that massive social network improperly used its “mobile messaging intelligence” across Facebook, WhatsApp, and Instagram. 

Now, BlackBerry is going after Snapchat’s parent company Snap Inc. The team at Snap is quite familiar with being brought in the same scope as Facebook, given the sheer number of times the tech giant has copied its product.  Read more…
