Hulu launches March Madness experience for hardcore basketball fans

If you’re a Hulu subscriber, you can now watch March Madness anywhere you like. 

Hulu’s March Madness Experience launched Sunday at the time the bracket was announced. It’s available, in varying capacity, to all Hulu Live TV subscribers. 

The experience is the latest installment of Hulu’s push into live sporting events. The subscription video service began streaming college football on its Live TV service last August, and offered a similar experience with NBC’s Olympics coverage in February. 

Personalized sports viewing experiences have been by far the most popular content on Hulu’s Live platform, according to Richard Irving, Hulu’s vice president of product. In particular, the service is (intuitively) targeting “cord cutters,” customers who have forgone cable TV for streaming services.  Read more…
