Dude lands a job by making this super catchy rap video instead of a cover letter

This copywriter’s cover letter sets a pretty high standard for job applications. 

Chase Zreet applied to work on the Sprite account at Wieden+Kennedy, an ad agency in New York. Instead of submitting a traditional cover letter, he submitted a three minute music video rapping about his love for Sprite and his qualifications in advertising, and it’s actually really catchy. 

Oh, and he did it all while riding a hoverboard.

In the music video, titled “Cover Letter,” Zreet rode through Dallas, Texas in a Sprite-themed costume. He alternated between green and yellow suits, complete with a gold chain adorned with a lemon and a lime.  Read more…
