Prepare to be mad about 'Ready Player One' exploiting your geek loves again

If it’s a geeky thing from the ’80s or ’90s, Ready Player One is here to take a giant dump on it.

A newly spotted batch of posters for the March 29 film from Steven Spielberg amount to visual remixes. Each one resembles the poster from a Gen X classic like Beetlejuice or The Lost Boys, only it swaps in a bunch of Ready Player One characters.

It’s not clear how they’re officially connected to the movie, though SlashFilm notes they’ve been spotted at the Ready Player One Experience in Miami.
