Netflix gives parents the ability to shield kids from specific titles

Netflix has a new gift that parents may find useful: The ability to PIN-protect individual titles. 

Currently, Netflix allows users to set PINs for all Netflix content above a certain maturity rating. For example, if you’re worried about little Jimmy watching R-rated movies, you can set your account such that any R-rated movie requires a PIN. 

Soon, however, you’ll be able to set a PIN on a specific movie or TV series. So if Jimmy’s ready to see some action movies, but you think Star Wars is just too much, you can set a PIN to pop up whenever he tries to watch Rogue One. Read more…
