Han Solo's BFF Chewbacca is now the cutest, cuddliest toy in the galaxy

Everyone’s favorite wookie is now cuter and cuddlier than ever before.

Ahead of New York Toy Fair, Hasbro has announced the “Star Wars Ultimate Co-pilot Chewie,” a 16-inch tall furry version of Han Solo’s BFF that roars when it’s pet and detects movement and sounds. And here’s the craziest part: rock Chewie and he’ll fall asleep like a baby.

Created by FurReal Friends, the toy company behind the irresistibly adorable Roarin’ Tyler Tiger, it’s no wonder Chewie is equally as cute.

The company tells me the Chewie toy, which comes out this fall for $129.99, has been in development for about about a year and half. Even though it won’t arrive in time for the Solo movie this May, it’s still a sweet toy for Star Wars fans. Kids will probably enjoy it a lot more, though.  Read more…
