Hopping aboard the Tide Pods meme bandwagon, noble Brooklyn crusader Vinnie’s Pizzeria is attempting to curb the trend of moronic daredevils consuming laundry detergent that apparently resembles candy.
They’re making “Pied Pods,” stuffed with mozzarella cheese and pepperoni, topped with blue-dyed cheese “for that hypnotic pizzaz.” Read more…

Yes, there are some of us out there who are mad picky about how our food is served.
After all, you’ve handed over your hard-earned cash and expect the whole thing won’t be a complete mess, or at the very least, contains the extra avocado you paid for.
But not getting your sandwich cut equally? Well, we’re going to go out on a limb and say it’s perhaps a bit fastidious, as in this case in Australia.
Corowa RSL CEO Peter Norris told ABC News a sandwich was sent back by “a bingo lady, in her eighties” to the café’s staff — because one side was slightly wider than the other. Read more…

Judge slams USA Gymnastics doctor for saying victim statements about abuse hurt his mental health
January 19, 2018More than 100 women have made sexual assault accusations against USA Gymnastics team physician Larry Nassar, including athletes Gabby Douglas, Aly Raisman, Simone Biles, and McKayla Maroney.
But apparently he doesn’t want to hear about it — it’s too “mentally” hard to listen to their testimonies, according to a six-page letter Nassar wrote to Judge Rosemarie Aquilina, who’s presiding over his sentencing. Nassar pled guilty to 10 sexual assault charges, and as part of a plea deal he agreed to let women and girls who reported abuse give statements, or have them read through a proxy, during his sentencing hearing, according to the Lansing State Journal in Michigan, where the proceeding is being held.
